The Unidad de Enfermedades Inflamatorias Intestinales was created in 2015 to care for IBD patients and to run research aimed at their quality of life. It works as a multidisciplinary unit spanning gastroenterology, nursing, nutrition, mental health, colorectal surgery, internal medicine, rheumatology, infectious diseases and digestive endoscopy, and holds its clinics on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
