IBD centres

263 hospitals with a dedicated service for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, in 41 countries. Pick a country for its centres. For each one: what the unit actually does, what it is strong at, the clinicians and IBD nurses who work there, and the number to ring. Every fact links to the page we read it on.

What is missing

This is an early directory, not a complete one — a country not listed here means we have not researched it yet, not that it has no specialist IBD care. The same goes for a city missing from a country we do list. Regions are ordered by how much of this directory sits in each — which is a fact about our research, not about the care available there — and within a region, countries are alphabetical and centres alphabetical by city. Nothing here is ranked, scored or ordered by quality.

This directory is informational, not a ranking or a recommendation, and no centre pays to be listed. Details change — always confirm with the centre before acting, and speak to your own clinician about your care.
