What IBDHealth is, and what it is not

IBDHealth is a wellness tool and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.

It is a place to record your bowel movements, meals, medications, symptoms and sleep, to see what your own history looks like, and to produce a summary you can take to an appointment. That is the whole of it.

It does not diagnose anything, it does not tell you what to eat, and it does not predict flares. Where it reads a lab report, it transcribes what the page printed and flags values against the reference range on your own report — never a range we invented. Where we have not classified a food, it says so rather than implying the food is fine.

Never delay seeking medical advice, and never change a medication, because of something you saw in this app. If you are bleeding heavily, in severe pain, or getting rapidly worse, contact your IBD team, your doctor, or your local emergency number.

Your account

You need to be at least 16 years old. Keep your sign-in to yourself — anyone who can get into your account can read your entire medical history and delete it.

What you log is yours. We do not claim any ownership of it, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train models. What we do with it is set out in full on the privacy page.

Do not upload other people’s medical records. If a report names someone else, it is not yours to put here.

Beta, and what that means

IBDHealth is in open beta and free to use. There is no card, no trial countdown, and no charge. If that changes, it changes with notice and with this page updated first — it will not become a bill you did not agree to.

Beta also means bugs, changes, and features that appear and move. We back the data up, but you should treat the export as your own copy of anything that would hurt to lose — that advice is honest rather than defensive, and it applies to every service you use.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from your account page, and you can export everything first. Deletion locks the account immediately; the erasure that follows, and its timing, are described on the privacy page.

We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the service or to upload other people’s records. We will tell you why, and you can still export your data.

What we are responsible for

We are responsible for running the service with reasonable care and for keeping your data as described on the privacy page. We do not accept responsibility for medical decisions taken on the basis of what the app shows you — it is a record of what you entered, not clinical advice, and the sections above say so as plainly as we can.

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not permit us to exclude. Nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer under Belgian or EU law, or under the law of the country you live in, and where this page and those rights disagree, those rights win.

Changes

These terms carry the same version as the privacy page. If we change anything that matters, the version changes and we tell you rather than relying on you re-reading.
