UC CHRISTUS — Red de Salud Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile

Unidad de Atención Integral de Pacientes con Enfermedad Inflamatoria Intestinal (UDEII-UC)

The UDEII-UC provides multidisciplinary IBD care built around each patient rather than around a department, drawing on gastroenterology, colorectal surgery, rheumatology, dermatology, ophthalmology, infectious diseases, nutrition, obstetrics and gynaecology, pathology and radiology. It names four nurses on the team, including a liaison nurse who has specialised in inflammatory bowel disease since 2014. In 2023 it was accredited by the Pan American Crohn's and Colitis Organisation, through Bureau Veritas, as an advanced centre for comprehensive IBD management. It sees patients at two Santiago sites.

Where this came from

Everything on this page was read on the centre’s own published pages. Nothing here is inferred, and nothing is filled in where we could not find it.

This directory is informational, not a ranking or a recommendation, and no centre pays to be listed. Details change — always confirm with the centre before acting, and speak to your own clinician about your care.
