The Deutsches Zentrum Immuntherapie (DZI) at Universitätsklinikum Erlangen is the first point of contact for patients with chronic inflammatory bowel diseases, offering specialised consultations dedicated solely to CED patients. It has established a research clinic for patients who do not respond to conventional therapies, focused on trials with promising new substances. Care is delivered interdisciplinarily with surgery, dermatology, rheumatology and radiology.
