The Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Center
The Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Center brings together gastroenterology, GI surgery, paediatrics and paediatric surgery, working with nurses, pharmacists and dietitians. It describes itself as a core hospital for IBD, taking not only mild and moderate disease but also patients with severe or refractory disease referred from other general hospitals. Specialised IBD clinics run Monday to Friday, and the centre also admits patients for multidisciplinary treatment and detailed assessment.
