The Gastroenterology Department (Gastromedisinsk avdeling) at Oslo University Hospital, Ullevål, names inflammatory bowel disease as a specialised area of expertise and treats both ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. Its outpatient clinic, one of the largest in Norway, runs a dedicated telephone follow-up line reserved for patients being monitored for ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease.
