The centre diagnoses and treats children with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and the clinic states that it concentrates the largest number of paediatric IBD patients from across Slovakia's regions. Endoscopy and imaging are done in-house, with paediatric radiology, anaesthesiology, surgery and psychology working alongside the clinic. It has a named head who is also its designated expert guarantor.
