Centre for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
The Centre for Inflammatory Bowel Disease at Mount Sinai Hospital is described as the largest IBD program in Canada, treating over 7,500 patients annually through an interdisciplinary team of gastroenterologists and colorectal surgeons. It combines medical management, surgical treatment and clinical research, and is home to the GEM Project and an advanced IBD fellowship. A dedicated preconception and pregnancy clinic and a virtual-care (PACE) referral pathway are also offered.
