The University of Alberta IBD Clinic, in the Zeidler Ledcor Centre adjacent to the University of Alberta Hospital, provides diagnosis and long-term care for around 5,100 patients with Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis and indeterminate colitis. Each patient is paired with an IBD specialist and nurse who coordinate with surgeons, dietitians and other professionals. The clinic serves the Edmonton region, Northern Alberta and beyond, and runs paediatric-to-adult transition and preconception/pregnancy programs.
