The Department of Liver, Stomach and Bowel Diseases (Lever-, Mave- og Tarmsygdomme) at Aarhus University Hospital investigates and treats liver, stomach and bowel diseases, and runs a dedicated inflammatory bowel disease service for patients with ulcerative colitis (colitis ulcerosa) and Crohn's disease (morbus Crohn). This includes a nurse consultation for the newly diagnosed and a structured IBD patient-education programme.
