Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Program
The IBD Program within the Digestive Disease Institute diagnoses and manages inflammatory bowel disease with a multidisciplinary team spanning gastroenterology and colorectal surgery. Diagnosis runs from gastroscopy, colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy through balloon-assisted enteroscopy and capsule endoscopy to MR enterography and CT. Treatment covers oral, injected, infused and topical medication, endoscopic procedures, minimally invasive surgery, and nutritional evaluation and support, with monitoring for complications.
