Edinburgh IBD Unit

NHS Lothian's IBD team is based at the Western General Hospital, where the IBD nurse helpline and Edinburgh's biologics service sit. Patients may also be seen at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and St John's Hospital, but IBD surgery is concentrated at the Western General. The unit publishes patient guidance on managing Crohn's and colitis flares, and runs structured drug and disease monitoring.
