Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) service
The gastroenterology department treats all diseases of the digestive tract and runs specialist outpatient clinics for inflammatory bowel disease. It employs dedicated IBD nursing staff, including a lead IBD nurse specialist and several IBD clinical nurse specialists, and works with colorectal surgery for bowel conditions.
