The gastroenterology and colorectal surgical teams at the Royal Victoria Infirmary and Freeman Hospital care for patients with inflammatory bowel disease. Medical care includes the full range of biologic therapies, and the surgical service performs over 100 major IBD resections per year with high-volume pouch surgery. Support includes dietitians, stoma nurse specialists and clinical psychology.
