The Sheffield Inflammatory Bowel Disease Centre delivers specialist IBD care through consultant gastroenterologists and IBD nurse specialists at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. It works jointly with a colorectal surgical team experienced in IBD surgery, holding a joint IBD medical and surgical clinic every month. The centre established one of the first transition services for young people moving from Sheffield Children's Hospital to adult care.
