Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) service
The service looks after around 10,000 patients with Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis or microscopic colitis. Care is led by consultant gastroenterologists with IBD specialist nurses and an IBD specialist pharmacist, working alongside dietitians, psychology, and the surgical and paediatric IBD services. An IBD advice line provides non-urgent advice between appointments.
