The hepato-gastroenterology service of Cliniques universitaires Saint-Luc manages inflammatory bowel disease (MICI), mainly Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Care is based on specialised consultations for diagnosis and disease-activity assessment, long-term follow-up to prevent flare-ups, and a multidisciplinary approach in collaboration with other specialties; most examinations are done on an outpatient basis.
