MICI — maladies inflammatoires chroniques de l'intestin, hépato-gastro-entérologie (IMAD)
The CHU de Nantes runs a dedicated inflammatory bowel disease (MICI) service within its hépato-gastro-entérologie department, part of the Institut des Maladies de l'Appareil Digestif (IMAD). A multidisciplinary medical-surgical team, with dedicated radiologists and pathologists and support from rheumatology and dermatology, cares for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. The service offers IBD-nurse consultations every Thursday, a therapeutic-education programme, and clinical research through the CIC-IMAD.
